Bruce & Faye Settle A Bit Of History: Have been married for 34 years. Have 3 children who are married and live in Auckland. We also have 3 beautiful grandsons. Have in the past been dairy farmers in the Waikato and then served for a time with Youth With a Mission at Orama Great Barrier Island, Canberra Australia and Mangere in Auckland We were involved with running Discipleship Training School and then outreaches in New Zealand and the Philippines. We have now been at Eden Chrisitan Hostel for 9 years and into our 10th year. What a blessing to see our young folk in New Zealand and overseas come to the hostel to pursue their vision for their lives. We are so encouraged to see the committment to their studies and the way they embrace all at the hostel and mix so well. They certainly have a great time and we are privileged to serve these students while they are here. We think they enjoy the flexible breakfast and lunch times!! The year goes by very fast and soon they are all getting organised into flats for the coming year. We see our place as hostel managers is to provide an environment where the students can grow spritually along side each other, to make the transistion from home to the city easier, meet new friends and be here if needed. And of course provide beautiful meals!!
