Christian Care Budget Service is a community based service whose aim is to help families find security in handling their finances through the development of good money management skills.
We offer the following assistance to individuals and families experiencing financial difficulties:
- confidential, non-judgemental advice and support,
- help with planning a budget and living within an income,
- negotiations with creditors as required,
- assistance with setting up and monitoring banking and cashflow systems.
Budgets are designed to each individual or family's specific needs - no two budgets are the same!
Because the service is funded by the Ministry of Social Development, budgeting advice is provided absolutely free - there is no charge for attending.
Also affiliated to a national body, the New Zealand Federation of Family Budgeting Services (NZFFBS), service staff attend regular training and service reviews to maintain high standards.
Appointments are required.
